Continuar leyendo

Moving towards a Circular Economy

Due to the current scarcity and high value of commodities, we believe in the need to move towards a Circular Economy that recycles materials, remanufactures equipment and helps mitigate the effects of climate change. We are proud to be a design and manufacturing company that reuses and recycles scrap metal to produce new highly engineered … Continuar leyendo

Circular Economy, Remanufacturing & 3D Printing

We are pleased to announce that we’ve added three new categories to our Neptuno Pumps web page: Circular Economy, Remanufacturing & 3D Printing. Circular Economy: Given the current scarcity and high value of commodities, we believe in the need to move towards a circular economy that recycles materials, remanufactures equipment and help mitigate the effects … Continuar leyendo

Water & Energy: Transforming Risks into Global Opportunities

Do you imagine living in a place where the average annual rainfall is less than one millimeter? – We do.

As citizens of the driest place on earth -the Atacama Desert- we are especially conscious about water scarcity and the negative effects of climate change. We are proud that this beautiful and unique landscape has defined us as environmentally responsible men and women.

Latin America is currently facing great challenges, it is a highly dependent on water, both for its basic human needs but and its energy production, and it is already one of the most affected regions by the climate crisis. We agree with the scientific community that if we do not act fast against global warming, by developing energy efficient technologies that heavily reduce carbon emissions and the extensive use of renewable energy sources, there will be severe consequences that will affect us all and our future generations.

It depends on us to transform these challenges into global opportunities, and we feel that pumping systems represent a huge opportunity for creating high-impact results that can benefit us all. Pumps are essential to human life and are the heart of industries, accounting for 30% of total energy consumption on an average industrial site. However 90% of pumps worldwide are running at low efficiencies, wasting millions of dollars in energy and emitting millions of tons of CO2 to the atmosphere each year accelerating global warming. We are proud that our innovations can help mitigate these global issues.
